The water reservoir or water dam of Kannaviou is located in the Paphos district in Cyprus and near by villages are Agios Demetrianos, Psathi, Asprogia, Polemi and Panayia.

It started in September 2000 and was finished in March 2006. In October 2005 the deposit of water started and it can hold 18 Million Cubic Meters of water.

Το φράγμα Κανναβιού αξιοποιεί το νερού του ποταμού Έζουσας, ενώ η κατασκευή του υλοποιήθηκε με στόχο την κάλυψη των υδρευτικών αναγκών τόσο της χαμηλής, όσο και της ημιορεινής περιοχής της Πάφου. Το φράγμα, χωρητικότητας 18 εκατομμυρίων κυβικών μέτρων, έχει τη δική του σημασία και ρόλο στη διαχείριση των υδάτινων πόρων. Η ροή του ποταμού Έζουσας ανακόπτεται και αποθηκεύεται στον ταμιευτήρα του φράγματος. Από το φράγμα ικανοποιητικές ποσότητες νερού αφήνονται να ρέουν προς την απέναντι κοιλάδα τόσο για εμπλουτισμό των υδροφόρων στρωμάτων, όσο και για συντήρηση της χλωρίδας της περιοχής.

Going off road to look for the hidden lake, Diamond as we called it, in the Troodos mountains got us stuck with the car since most of the road was washed away by the rivers created from the rain.

Never the less, we managed to find the Diamond shape lake, as we called it, and also took aerial video of the no entry zone lake in the Amiantos old mine.
